Canon EOS 7D Bir süredir yeni ekipmanlarda sessizliğini koruyan Canon, D-SLR fotoğraf makinası modellerine semi-pro denebilecek bir model ve üç yeni lens ( EF 100mm F2.8L USM Macro Hybrid IS, 15-85mm F3.5-5.6 IS USM, 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 IS USM) ekledi.
Alışıldık xD (5D, 1D) seri modellerindeki tam çerçeve (Full Frame) almaç CMOS (sensör) ü yeni modeli 7D de kullanmayan Canon, bunun yerine 40D ve 50D den daha hızlı, 18megapiksel, 19 noktalı otomatik netleme, tampon belleği yüksek (saniyede 8 kare) ve sadece üst seviye modellerinde bulunan dual DIGICIV işlemci, 1080piksel (fullHD) video ve sağlam gövde özellikleriyle basın, spor ve kuş fotoğrafçılarının sık kullandığı APS-C sensör tip makinalarda 1700USD fiyatıyla iyi bir alternatif getirdi diyebiliriz.
